the cheapest way to go would to just buy a plate carrier and put level 3 plates in it,plus it gets rid of the extra bulk and just leaves the part that really protects you anyway.

that all depends on what it can stop and how much it would hurt getting shot wearing it...soft armor sounds like pain

none in particular,just for personal use. and just for the sake of having one.

so far... if it had to do with a job im only allowed to wear interceptor that doesnt really belong to me.

im thinking about joining police as a primary job though

3a, is the highest rated concealable armor. which generaly makes it more expensive, and much more bulky. i bought and used a 3a for my first 4 years, and eventually gave in and went with department issued 2a.

ill see if i can find any 3a, but they are much more rare.
