I'm starting to feel the Republican party is lost. This makes 3 republican nominees in a row that just don't have a chance. They better spend the next 4 years finding a way to get HC out of office.

What do you guys think the major changes are they need to make to have success in the next 4 years?

Start eliminating dumbasses... If the people actually put Hillary in office, then this country is too far gone. I think we're already there though because we put Obama in the there TWICE!

I have no faith in the Republican Party miraculously rising from the ashes. They will continue to pick losers for office, and lots of conservatives will continue to support "political outsiders" and/or refuse to vote for establishment candidates.

    We. Are. Screwed...

Too many do Nuffins getting free **** from the plantation owners. White, black, blue , green, or purple it doesnt matter. This nation has been sold out to slavery. "Big Daddy" has crafted a plan that is working and it will bring the US down. It's been in play for decades.

The real problem is everyone votes for the least of 2 evils.
Many years ago Democrats were had working poor, lower middle calls, and middle class. And were for the people. And were like The Real Republicans who are Conservatives of today. The thing that is the real death of the GOP is the 3rd party votes. Those who will not vote Trump and vote 3rd party. Remember how many votes Ross Perot pulled from the GOP and put a Dem in office
Democrats now have gotten the the generation of the voters they bought As they are now of age. So next step is Import them..

There is no Republican Party...it is gone. If HC gets in, she will be there for 8 years because the Republican Party will likely tap Jed Bush to run in 2020, and we know how that will end up...The Republican Party lost me about 8 or 10 years ago...I came to the conclusion that they had no nuts and would not stand up and fight...I am a supporter of Trump only because I believe that should he get in, he will surround himself with some good people and will force a lot of the "good old boys" out...

Rep party -- really doesn't matter -- Electoral College will vote for the Democratic runner.

The Democrat will almost always win the following states with their vote amounts: California 55, Connecticut 7, the District of Columbia 3, Delaware 3, Hawaii 4, Illinois 20, Maine 4, Maryland 10, Massachusetts 11, Michigan 16, Minnesota 10, New Jersey 14, New York 29, Oregon 7, Pennsylvania 20, Rhode Island 4, Vermont 3, Washington 12, and Wisconsin 10. -- Republicans haven't won New York, Oregon, Washington, or Wisconsin since 1984.

Republicans haven’t won California, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania since 1988.

Those states are worth 183 electoral votes. The projection right now is that the Democrat likely enters the 2016 election with a base of 242 electoral votes. -- this leaves Democrats just 28 electoral votes needed to take The White House, while the Republican needs an additional 100 electoral votes to win. There are only 126 electoral votes left among the 11 battleground states. And that is how Obama got elected twice and Hillary will win in November.

    Sad.

I'm not convinced he will. Right now the liberals have Trump fighting everyone but Clinton. He's tied up on the Kahn family (There's no way you can get the public support against the parents of a dead army hero). He was still attacking Cruz more than 2 months after Cruz dropped out of the race. He attacks journalists, judges, women... He continues wasting time and energy on stupidity instead of campaigning against Clinton. If he's hired good people, he's not listening to them. His bush league ego will cost him the election.

I'm gonna vote for Trump but his comments attacking Mr. Kahn and his wife prove what a narcissistic ass he truly is.
And remember when he attacked John McCain calling him inferior for being captured....another real ass moment.

There won't be a long game. If HC gets in, its over. She'll appoint liberal judges. The RNC will tell the Senate to approve the liberal judges, and they will. We'll be screwed for decades.

My hope is that Trump will get in and blow the whistle on all of the corruption on both sides and clean up both parties. I don't think it'll happen, but...

The democrat party has shifted so far left that we have to choose between light moderate and far left.

The reason the Republicans have not had a solid candidate since Reagan (sorry to any Bush fans out there) is because the message isn't as easy to digest for most people. I heard an explanation that was like this, the Republicans are offering a ladder to success, an opportunity for you to climb up, while the Democrats offer a rope with which they will pull you up. Now most people given that choice, may opt for a ladder, but the Republican's can't actually show you the ladder, you simply have to trust it will be there. The Democrats can point to all the social programs and say, "there is the rope we will pull you up with." So it's a much harder message for the Republicans to present, but what people miss is the slippery slope of the Democrat message, for they will not pull you up all the way, rather just part of the way, least you no longer need their help. The Republican message is ultimately that you don't need their help, they should just step out of the way so you can help yourself. That is ultimately a more viable message, but one people have a hard time seeing clearly how it would work. Reagan seemed to be the only one who could clearly communicate that message.
