Sorry, not my intent to offend anyone, and maybe I misunderstood the post or pic, but, I just dont find anything funny or amusing about destruction, devistation, or the loss of one's dear pet. Forgive me if I stepped on anyone's toes.
The pic is a screenshot from a popular TV series "The Walking Dead". It is about a zombie apocalypse. The guy on top of the camper is scouting for zombies with his binoculars. Idiots are sharing this on Facebook thinking it is real. The humor is present on many different levels.
1) The image creator's dark humor; creating something outrageous and knowing that idiots will share it on FB.
2) The implying that Tropical Storm Hermine (still argued over it's hurricane status) caused such wanton destruction and caused people to abandon their cars on an interstate.
3) That the gentleman on top of the camper (Dale) is searching for his dog with a rifle slung over his shoulder.
4) That such an obvious picture will fool so many people.
If you like, you can search through this thread and let me know if you would like me to explain the humor in any other pics you are unable to find funny.

You are correct Sir, I had no idea of the pic's origin. I dont watch walking dead or any other "zombie" related shows.
You'll be alright. The first part was sarcasm of course, but no more than I would give anyone else around here; online, in person, or over a beer.

Don't feel bad. I've never seen walking dead, and I don't have facebook, and also had no idea what that was all about. What I thought was funny about the pic was the fake wood paneled station wagon on the freeway in 2016!
