I miss the good old days(last year) when one can post a gun or rifle in the for sale section and 2mins later you're updating the sales post with SOLD SOLD SOLD..

Those days are long gone and I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing..

Many Firearms and related items are cheaper now than they were when Obama was President.
I stocked up long before the election and the 08/13/2016 flood almost wiped me out.
A NIB VP9 with 6 magazines is now priced lower than a NIB VP9 with 2 magazines from1 year ago.

If u price your items as used items should be priced it is a great time to sell. Buyers would be calling u at a rate of 8 per hour and driving u batty. If u list your used items at 140% of retail or msrp I guess you aren't getting any calls. Its a buyers market with the new president. Dealers are selling there stock that they over bought [thinking hillary would win} for just above cost just to unload as much as possible. I am seeing prices super super low that I had not seen in a loooong time.

It's definitely a buyer's market right now and a horrible time to sell. The price of brand new guns, mags, and ammo is so low that it hurts the used market. You can find almost anything very easily right now. On the flip side, it's a great time to buy. At the very least, just trade.

I've seen used items (not just here) priced at or even above what can be had new right now, especially AR's. I'm not saying you're doing that, op, but add to that the fact that the scare is over guns aren't going to sell unless they are almost a steal

Yep Brawny, you have pretty much the idea. All about supply, demand, and ease of obtaining.

I feel your pain. I recently parted out a Polish Mosin for more total than I could sell the complete rifle for. One does what one needs/has to do at times.

For me looking around the FS ads its simply price. Most of the items I am interested are nearly the same price as it would be new. Its not my preference to buy a used handgun for $50 less than the same model is new.

I very rarely see those "good deals" in the items I am interested in.
