      Best AR cal. for hunting

      .308 here, 'cause I only want to reload two rifle calibers (other is .223) and my DPMS .308 with a red dot is the ticket for chasing pigs. Last one was a one shot kill, DRT, on a running hog at estimated 50 yards. No confidence in .223 for this sort of hunting scenario.

      I took advantage of the discount. EOTech products don't seem to be sold much off MSRP (if at all) so IMO it is probably the best deal you can find other than the used market.

      It may actually be "turning on" but maybe the image onscreen is no longer visible. The lasers apparently do fail eventually and EOTech recently offered to upgrade mine (the image had finally faded to nearly invisible) to a newer unit since parts for the older units aren't available. Call EOTech.
