I'm interested in pickup up a Chiappa Rhino of some description, preferably 2" or 3" barrel and .357, but I can be flexible depending on what (if anything) people might be willing to part with. Just thought I'd throw it out there, I'm in New Orleans, but I can travel pretty much anywhere if...
I seriously doubt this helps you, but if any/all of your responsible persons use the Silencer Shop kiosk, SS will send you perfect fingerprint cards that you can mail in. That's what I did (especially during the strangeness of COVID), and had my cards in 2 days, and submitted the form the next...
I had a Sig Romeo Zero on order, switched over the Holosun 507K, and am now semi-patiently waiting. I keep hearing "a few more weeks" every time I check on when it will be available, so this thread gives me some hope!
So I suspect Dave's comment above is still true, but for the life of me I just can't seem to make time during the week to get to MCTA. I have no excuse, but I wanted to ask if anyone had been during the weekend, and if it was busy? I'm a member, so they usually are able to find a spot for me...
Huge thank you to everyone who recommended Mike. Absolutely perfect engraving, and a great guy. My only problem is we talked about a bunch of different high power rifle techniques I want to try at the range, and I probably won't be able to get there until next weekend! Thanks again to all!
Hopefully this is the right place to post this, if not I apologize!
I just got my stamp back on an eFiled Form 1 SBR (21 days, not bad at all), and I'm wondering if anyone in the New Orleans area is doing engraving during this crazy time. I've used one of the local stores before, but they sent...
That's awesome, thank you for doing that! I actually had the thought about selling a firearm if one of my friends needed one, but I know I'm not qualified to do anything but give the standard firearms safety lesson. And I agree with you, it's about practice and feeling comfortable, which...
What I keep seeing on the news (mostly from other states) is that there are a lot of first time gun buyers who are panic-buying. I mean, I doubt anyone on the forum here is out buying their first firearm this weekend. Maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway, I had a thought: Is there anything we can do to help...
Sorry, yes, I asked my question badly. I'm a member, I just haven't had a chance to go during the week since I joined due to my travel schedule. As you can imagine, my travel is... non existent right now. So I was trying to figure out if there was something that had changed at MCTA during the...
I haven't been in a few weeks, but since my work travel is shut down was thinking of heading there for a weekday visit as a member. Are you talking about more non-members being there on the weekend, or is there something up during the week as well? Not trying to be difficult, just want to know...
So, you were 100% correct about this, especially with the nice weather today. It was busy at MCTA for sure, but it looked like a lot of that might have been events of some kind going on? Or maybe some kind of classes/training. Either way, I got some shooting done, which is all I'm after. I might...
I think I rolled in about 11:30 or so. There was a father/son there finishing up on the pistol range, and then they shot a few benches down from me on the 200 yard range for a while. It was definitely a slow day!
Since the title of this thread is appropriate, I thought I'd go ahead and ask:
Anyone want to head out to MCTA on Sunday? I'm happy to use my free guest pass if someone is looking to try before they join. I went last weekend on Sunday, and despite the rain and cold, I had a great time. This...
