      Toby, Go to gunbroker.com and search "springfield 1911". There are always several auctions on mil-specs, loadeds, and trophys. Some are on the high end but you may luck out like I did with my NIB parkerized loaded. Those on the high end will have zero bids.

      got a russian sks

      I have 3 of the Russians in my collection. All are vintage with 2 of the 3 from the Tula arsenal. Dates are 1951, 1953, and 1954. One has the black bolt and all three have the shiny blade bayonets. All 3 are in excellent condition. Picked up all three in the mid 90's for $125 each.

      New Springfield 1911

      I recently picked up this Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded in parkerized finish with factory combat night sights. I think I did well for $610 and $25 shipping for the new handgun, case, 2 mags, holster, and double mag pouch. Can't wait to get to the range and run a couple of boxes of rounds...
