      Remington 700 caliber change.

      I was thinking maybe a 308. little less recoil ammo is cheaper. I don't hand load. 300 and 7mm wsm has a much larger bullet selection in factory ammo too. switching to those would only be a barrel swap? any thing else a new bolt would be needed? probably would end up cheaper to just buy a 308...

      Remington 700 caliber change.

      I have a Remington 700 in .270 WSM. Does anyone know what calibers are compatible with that action? I know the 7mm, 300 and 325 WSM would work but are there any other options?

      polymer ar15 lower

      sounds like they are worth a shot. found some for 80 dollars online hadnt been able to get my hands on any forged aluminum ones for a while now and the cost of those has dramatically gone. not looking to build a match rifle any way just lite plinker to use when ammo is if ever available again

      "primative" weapon season gun

      want a new rifle for louisiana / mississippi primative weapon season. any recomendations? how is the recoil on the 35 whelen? i have been using a 444 handi rifle. i want some thing in stainless steel and that legal in both states that i can put a scope on.

      can i have my factory barrel reinstalled after having my receiver trued? i want to change my barrel eventually but dont have an unlimited budget so i would like to do a couple things at a time.

      i am looking for someone in the houma or n.o./b.r area to do a rebarrel and action blueprint for my 270 wsm 700. muzzle break on the new barrel as well. can anybody recommend someone in the area that is qualified to do that type of work.
