      Officer Size 9mm Reliability

      Can anyone relate their experience with Officer sized 1911's in 9 mm? I'm interested in the reliability of this size platform but I just don't have any experience with them. Does the smaller size & 9 mm chambering effect reliability?

      Trust Taurus?

      Just sold a PT709 slim. I only had 300 rnds thru it, no problems at all. It was a great shooter. Even my 12 yr old son shot it surprisingly well. Sold it because I'm in the process of moving to non-thumb safety CCW's.

      I think there are many many folks (myself included) who are waiting for the kinks to get worked out of this pistol before taking the leap on it. For now, I'm still on the fence...patiently waiting. And by patiently I mean buying other guns while I wait. Like my new Walther PPS M2.
