I used a DSA stripped upper to replace a VERY out -of-spec upper from a Blackthorne kit. Very good quality on the DSA--can't say the same for the Blackthorne. But in defense of Blackthorne, I've built 6 or 7 of their kits and that's the only real problem I had, and they all run great now.

If you are working on accuracy---by all means sort your brass, weigh it and seperate it into lots, etc etc. Every variable must be controlled if you want to shoot bugholes at long range etc.
