      I believe your SA-RO1911 has a Melonite finish however,I could be wrong. If it is indeed a 'bluing finish' after it is engraved a cold blue application should do the trick.       Threading a Henry octagon barrel

      Threading an octagon barrel is not a huge problem for a good "smith" however with most tube fed rifles the tube must be shortened,app.the length of one .22LR cartridge. I am sure "Big Jake" on this site can take care of you or James at Hebert's Guns. Good luck!
