      I believe the fees were $10 for new shooters but it's been a while. I know you have to exit off of I55 at Amite and head east on Hwy 16 into town. Unfortunately the range is at the end of a side road, I can drive it but I can't give directions to it, sorry. As for bending the rules...

      blackhawk cqc holster for g34?

      The 34 is a little tough to find a holster for but it will fit into any 17 holster, (the muzzle protrudes slightly). I've shot several matches with my 34 in a Glock 17 CQC and it worked well. the Serpa is great for carry but isn't worth a damn for competition.

      I actually enjoy the hell out of IDPA but have to work Saturdays. I have to agree that the IDPA matches need to be run by IDPA guys, I love IPSC but IPSC guys tend to bend the rules a little when it comes to IDPA. In the meantime The Gator Classic was a great match.

      Do you carry concealed? If so, what is it?

      For on the street I like my Glock 26 in a Galco U.S.A. or Royal Guard. I also occasionally carry a Kimber Ultra for a "dress" gun. Around the Apartment when I have to do chores and don't feel like changing out of sweats and a t-shirt I carry the Kel Tec P3at with a belt clip.

      The new range is not going to be an end all be all fix for the crowd problem. We've had it open several weekends now, on and off and the Shop on David has still been crowded as hell. It'll help a little, but please guys, don't expect miracles.

      The new range is gorgeous, unfortunately Harrahan inspectors and last minute contractor Snafu's are holding us up and I do not have a solid date. We will, however, be holding a GSSF match at the new range on Hickory, Saturday November 11.
