It was a very different site back then. It was a discussion group and a place for locals to talk before getting together every few weeks to go shooting! what a novel idea!

I joined 2009. I still read the forum maybe twice a month. I don’t post anything anywhere online that could be controversial. I don’t Facebook. I still see Facebook as a teenage thing. I don’t twitter, etc.
I post only if I see a reasonable discussion that’s interesting to me.
The forum was much more interesting years ago and I responded to the drama. But now I wouldn’t respond.

I took a sabbatical for many months, then reappeared recently. It just wasn't fun any more for a while. Seems many of the major drama queens are gone, or no longer play any more. Dave M seems to have quit the forum again (no access to his profile or post history), second or third time in the last 7 years. And one perma ban in there too. Several of the former mods are gone too. Very low participation by AustinBR and Perez now a days. Anybody know what happened to Bryan from LA Gun? He used to post early in the mornings for every new member intro. No more. I hope covid didn't get him or something, a cool and helpful guy. I'd go visit the shop when I was in BR, but not in quite a while. And N4sir seems to have quit posting his cooking reports and images.
