Trump has never been convicted of inciting insurrection. These are nothing more than typical political attacks by leftists, the same people that claim to support democracy. I see nothing but ELECTION INTERFERENCE in this move by Maine, and in the same (now reversed) move by Colorado.
That news is 2 days old. These Dum states are resorting to everything possible to stop Trump from winning in 2024. Colorado announced the same 11 days ago, was the first to do so. Maine will not be the last one either, imo.

Even if these bans are overturned in the courts, they are trying to convince voters Trump is unfit for office, that he violated the US Constitution, that he broke the law and instigated a riot and the violence on Jan 7th, 2021.
And I bet they will swing some voters with their smear campaign. The Dums are pulling out all the stops now going forward. God help us if Joe Biden wins re-election in 2024. 30,000 illegals crossing the border right now per month. Setting records. New future Dum voters.

I will say that, if the left actually believe Child Sniffer honestly received 81,000,000 votes by 81,000,000 living, legal, registered citizen voters, why would they be so bent on taking Trump off the ballot or putting him in prison?

If the establishment hates him that much then he is exactly who we need to be president. I call that a clue!
Both states issued their decisions then immediately stayed those decisions to allow the appeals they knew were going to come.
I have that same feeling.
I think an issue with this would be if he threatened to run as an Independent. Would he pull enough republican voters to ensure any republican candidate didn't win?
I would have agreed completely before they started taking him off of ballots. He never does better than when he can claim victim hood and stay in the news 24/7. If the media/government would leave him alone, he would likely fade away at least far enough not be the candidate.
He can likely stir things up enough even if he doesn't run. His tendency to be a sore loser won't help if he directs it at whoever is the nominee whether he runs or not. Something spider-man said about great power and great responsibility....

Like Perez posted yesterday, if Trump runs independent, that will most likely split the Republican votes, and whomever Dum party candidate is will win the election. Trump in the past has stated he would run independent if he does not win the Republican nomination. His ego knows no boundaries. He could potentially screw us royally if he makes some really poor choices like running independent.

This will be one hell of a summer. Trump will win re-election, AGAIN! Whether or not he gets into the Whitehouse is another matter.
Nope - I think he is unelectable. I wish he would check his ego and do what is best for the country. Trust me I don't want a (insert democrat here) but if Robert Kennedy runs on the demo ballot the republicants are in for a real battle. I think the repubs best chance is Vivek.....But I've watched them do stupid things for the past 20 years and don't expect anything different.
