I wouldn't be shooting anything more than 300 yards in a hunting situation. For kicks I'd like to shoot 4 - 500, but just for kicks. I guess I was trying to get the all in one as well, but the more and more I read the less likely that is going to happen. Thanks for the input!
The more and more I look, the more confused I get!!! At first I was dead set on the 4 x 32 ACOG, just for the sake of having an ACOG. The main use for it will be plinking out to 100 yds, but this will be my pig gun as well... I have also tossed around the idea of the Trijicon Accupoint in a...
So, I am looking to put some optics on my AR. I want magnification, so EOTechs and Aimpoints are out. I'm seriously considering a 4 x 32 ACOG. Has anyone shot them past 100 yards? I'm curious as to how they do long range being only a 4 power. I know the list is extremely long for optics to put...
I have heard the AAC blackout will also give you the ping, or tuning fork sound. You can take one that is on the end of a barrel and pluck it and it sounds just like a tuning fork. I haven't actually shot one, but have played with them on an AR.
The problem you are running into is that everyone tries to sell their inventory out, or as low as possible for the end of the year. New production guns won't be available right away because of price increases and production time.
+1 for CC on college campus.
Just recently did a speech on this as well. It's controversial enough to discuss both sides, which will help with your point (there is no solid arguments against it!)
ConcealedCampus.org is a great website to use if you do decide to go for this.
Had a customer once that reversed a few numbers of his social and the NICS operator asked for proof of his social once the customer realized what he had done. Of course he didn't have it and got delayed... But other than that all you need is a government issued picture ID with your current...
I work at Bowie Outfitters in Baton Rouge. Our store manager of the Natchez store has shot the AAC set up some (if I'm not mistaken). Give the store there a call and ask for John. The number is 601-304-1101. He is very knowledgable. Also I have one of the 16" uppers in stock in the Baton Rouge...
