If you get past those principles, you won't be disappointed. The TX kinda feels like home as it runs like much larger 9s. The only problem with it as a trainer, is that it has a lighter trigger with a better reset than my carry guns, which are all stock in the 4 1/2 to 5 lb. range.
I recently bought a back-up Ghost belt and pouches, because the Blade Tech quick disconnect holster hanger fits the Ghost belt, but not the thicker Double Alpha.
When I saw the Ghost pouches I didn't think I would like them as they were not near as well built as the Double Alpha, for magazine...
LMAO If we had a Mongo or a Donk we wouldn't need to carry.
Seriously, I carry Critical Defense. Ballistics aside, high dollar defense ammo is usually near perfection.
I agree with Ryan.
The trigger finish on my new 686+ looks similar. When I picked it up at my local FFL someone asked if it was new or used. The non-uniform finish on some S&W triggers has caused me to think the same thing. Other S&Ws like the 500 have a different finish that looks perfect.
The problem I saw with the video was how many people run around with their DL/CHP/insurance card in their front shirt pocket?
I can't carry at work, so during a work week my handgun will be in the center console and my proof of insurance is in the glovebox. I always separate them. When I carry...
If by "this" you mean lint, there was a little sarcasm, if I was concerned about my carry gun functioning with lint, I would have tested it already.
EDIT
Thanks for adding the quote Joe. I was confused.
You did good! I only had to be lucky 4 or 5 nights over the course of 60 or so days.
I'm no expert, but it seems to me foreign objects could disable almost anything mechanical, including revolvers.
On the subject of dust bunnies and lint, its amazing how much lint works into a completely...
The problem was some people were allowing their trigger finger to drop straight into the trigger guard, after pushing the button, as they draw. I never had that problem using my trigger finger pointed straight down and hard over the button. The gun would come out with my finger above the guard...
It looks good!
I've only used paint pens and Testors, but never had to redo anything. I use non-acetone nail polish remover, instead of thinner on painted surfaces.
I bought a 5.25 in 9mm. I would have bought the 40, and a 9mm conversion barrel, but from what I've read you can't go back and fourth without modifying or replacing the extractor.
I ran a CZ P10C for 6 months in USPSA and switched to the XDM because of its long range capabilities, and the fiber...
One old car parts supplier I deal with, will ship your parts with a bill asking you to add the freight from the front of the box, before mailing a check.
Old school can be really nice.
+1 on Lafayette Shooters. Also Daves Gun Shop is worth a visit. They have a good selection of new guns, and more used/C&R guns than anybody else.
Just off I-10
Acadiana Gunworks, Scott LA. Small shop, nice folks, gunsmith on facility.
