If I build an AR pistol and then have a suppressor pinned to the barrel, making it a total length greater than 16.5" long, would I then have to also have another stamp to affix a stock or would it then be considered a rifle and not an SBR?

Are you saying the Odin Works should be trashed and replaced with that one or what? It's not my gun and he likes whats on there. The rail doesn't contact the barrel or gas block as it is.

That could be possible, but unlikely as it was put on just to the point of it being "tight". I'm not sure how to describe that. More than hand tight but not crazy tight
Don't know about the ft/lbs but we put some sho nuff on tightening it down. No front sight, low profile gas block under a free float hand guard. The barrel extension seems to be fine. We really didn't check it. It's not loose if that's what your asking.
