They have separate pistol and rifle ranges. Rifle is 100yrds and I believe the pistol is 25yrds. Ive been out there twice and had pretty good experiences both times despite how busy they were.
I really do not know the pros and cons of each type of coating. In my immediate family we have 5 tokarevs so its not like this gun will be beat on. However I do want the finish to last a lifetime.

I did some bayonet testing at the range this morning. With it extended it shoots pretty much dead on at 50 yrd. Folded it shoots about 3" left and 2" high.
