I have a 12 gauge Stevens Model 311A Double Barrel and the top cocking/breakdown lever stopped staying locked over to the side when cracking open the barrels. It is a pain in the backside to "hold it over when closing the barrels" and wears out my thumb. I know some gunsmiths don't like to work...

Who is a good reputable estimator for antique arms (for insurance purposes).
I'd like someone solid and reputable. I keep my antiques in a safe but in case of anything going awry, I'd sure like to have them insured at proper values so we don't get cheated. I've read of Mayers and Bowie says...

at Cabelas. Picked up a Japenese Caping knife (that will make a damn good bird and fish/small game knife), honestly........it is a razorlike schapel. Extremely sharp in a nice leather holster for ~40 bucks including tax. Also picked up a Gerber Gator in "fixed blade" (a hair over 4 inch blade)...
