      6.5 grendal 20inch

We need more details and pics of the malfunction if possible. Who made the barrel? Some manufacturers are known to have over or undersized gas ports. Who made the bolt? Is it Grendel bolt or 7.62x39? Upon firing the last round, will the mag drop free?

      6.5 creedmoor barrels

100 yds I’m betting Take that bca out to your intended range then check back with us;) If you still getting moa you hit the jackpot :) You realize that 1* moa at 1000 yds is 10* right? You said you wanted 4* at 600-1000.

.224 Valkyrie vs 6.5 Grendel for hunting and distance shooting

I have been hunting exclusively with 6.5 Grendel for the past 5 or 6 years. I am a big fanboy. If you are going to hunt and shoot targets out to 5 or 600 yards I would look at 18-20* barrels. .740 profiles or less and fluted if possible. If you were only shooting targets from a bench the...

      6.5 creedmoor barrels

You might. But I would say the odds are against it. 4* at 1000 is .4 moa right? I have read about some bear creek stuff that struggles to hold 1.5* at 100.

      6.5 creedmoor barrels

After years of trying to do more with less (especially optics) I am now in the buy once cry once camp. If this was to be a hunting gun I may save a few bucks and use one of the aforementioned vendors. Since you stated a 600-1000 yd I would spend the money for a proven top name. I have a...

Looking to rent land for shooting.

I didn’t realize he was that expensive. I tried to hook up with Wilton a couple years ago but never could so I just gave up. Last time I went was probably 10 years ago.

Leupold MIL or MOA / FFP or SFP and Why?

I edited my posts. I don’t know what happened. I must have been drunk when I posted that. I really do have both types and know the difference. Sorry for the confusion.

What's the best option for coloring weapons?

A few weeks ago, I tried my hand at painting a gun. I used the products I have in my collision repair shop. I know how to handle plastic parts. My factory rep use to have a nerf football, a shower curtain and a piece of aluminum foil painted with these same products. I can make them as...

Leupold MIL or MOA / FFP or SFP and Why?

If I wanted another ffp scope that may be used for hunting it would be illuminated reticle. I have one, but still prefer hunting with my sfp scopes

Leupold MIL or MOA / FFP or SFP and Why?

First focal plane— more expensive, you can range a target at any magnification because the reticle shrinks as you zoom out and enlarges as you zoom in. I like ffp for target shooting because I can make the reticle as big or small as I want. Kind of an aim small miss small thing;) for that...

Leupold MIL or MOA / FFP or SFP and Why?

One MOA, 1⁄60 of that, measures 1.047 inches. While 1 MOA at 100 yards equals 1.047 inches, at 200 yards it equals 2.094 inches (2 x 1.047). To calculate MOA at any distance, multiply 1.047 by the distance in yards and divide by 100. On riflescopes with 1⁄4-MOA adjustments, each click equals...

Leupold MIL or MOA / FFP or SFP and Why?

Some scopes, Leupold in particular, have a mil dot reticle and turrets that are moa. If you use the mil dots in the the scope to range your target you have to convert that to moa or your point of aim will be off. It only becomes an issue if you use the reticle to range the target.

Leupold MIL or MOA / FFP or SFP and Why?

I think most folks are going mil but for some reason my brain translates better with moa. It’s really just personal preference. Make sure your reticle matches the turrets so you don’t have another math problem to work out. As for ffp or sfp, I like ffp for target shooting but Not for...
