      Does this one have the flat base all the way forward, or is it raised on the front? I'm looking for a flat one. The newer ones raised the front to clear the foregrip on an AR. I'm not mounting it to an AR, so the gap would look bad.

      Thanks so much for getting back. On their video, the guy drops the gun a couple of times directly on the site and then proceeds to dunk it into a pond to rinse it off... As one of the earlier posters put it... civilian use won't require swimming at depth for extended periods with the weapon...

      Has anyone had any experience with Primary Arms red dots? The folks at the AR-15 forum seem to swear by them. I'm interested in the M3 or M4 aimpoint clones (yes, they're made in China) but they have a 2moa (small) dot and multiple reticals... and are less than the Vortex Strikefire... on that...
