      Aphid Infestation

Yep. Ladybug larvae and lacewing larvae are voracious aphid munchers. I seem to always have ladybugs around my yard so never have problems with aphids on my peppers and other veggies.

Came home to HOLES in my yard!

Any tips for catching armadillos in the traps? I've got at least 1, maybe more that have been tearing my vegetable gardens and now yard up.

      Question about snakes

Didn't get close enough to see the pupils. Head did seem diamond shaped, but I only saw it front on so was hard to tell. Did also seem to have a much smaller tail than the usual water snakes I see in the ditch.

      Question about snakes

Very dark brown, almost black with black bands.

      Question about snakes

Gday all. Got a quick question about snakes/snake id. While checking my veggie garden this morning I figured I'd check the drainage ditch behind our house for snakes. Saw what looked to be a cottonmouth, had the fat body for one. The head looked smaller, more like a water snakes. Snake was 2...

Apparently it's a human right to get free weddings

Came across this article on several pages today. Apparently now it's a basic human right to get a 15k wedding handed to you for being a lazy fat turd...

      Any Way to Deter Snakes?

I was just telling my wife today that one of those would make an amazing pet due to the colours.

      LA Snake ID page

Have the page saved on my phone. It's saved the life of quite a few snakes on my property already.

Face to face with a Florida panther

Great pics for what must have been a heart stopping moment! Glad they came out safe. Still-no way in hell I want to come face to face with one of those!

      Any Way to Deter Snakes?

I can't see why people want to kill harmless snakes. No chance of harm to you, your family or pets, plus free rodent control. I saw 5 snakes within 3 hours at my house this afternoon and let them all live. 2 water snakes (one was amusing to watch trying to catch the minnows floundering in what...

Got a resident raccoon. What to do?

Haha yeah I do. Haven't done coon sausage before though! Didn't know coons didn't burrow. From google searches trying to work out what it could be it showed they do. Don't know where they'd be sleeping during the day then as there's not many trees around us. Unless the tracks are from something...

Got a resident raccoon. What to do?

Hi all. As I'm living in a country area now, I'm going to have more of an interaction with critters I've never had to worry about since moving here. Judging by tracks, and the burrow that's been dug in the ditch behind our property, it seems we have a raccoon that's taken residence here. As it...

These are 2 programs my wife uses a lot in IT. Another good one is superantispyware.com.

Best place to try different handguns

Hi all. First off I hope I'm posting this in the right area. My wife recently decided to sell her revolver as she preferred my semi auto over it. We're both looking to obtain a CHP some time this year, and she really likes the Ruger LCP and LC9's that we've looked at while looking at Academy. I...

Post a funny picture or gif

Haha. I saw that posted on FB earlier today and first thing I thought was (most) everyone on here would love it! I usually don't have much to contribute on here, so when I do I try to make it worthwhile! Lol.

Lafayette fishers, rainbow trout are now available

I understand your view there. To be honest, the first time I wasn't sure if I'd even catch any so didn't take an ice chest so had nothing to keep them in. And after seeing the greed of everyone out there I wasn't sure if there'd be any left the next time I went. Will keep a couple for sure when...

Lafayette fishers, rainbow trout are now available

Been out a few times and managed to get some each time. These things fight so much better than bass! Tried nightcrawlers to start with the first time, and couldn't get past the damn bream. Didn't have any luck til I put on a beetle spin, and that's the only thing both myself and my better half...
