      I obviously didn't read enough. Now looking at it, it isn't a horrible price. You just have to ask yourself is an internal lazer worth that much to you. And like DAUC said, what type of ammo?

      Colt detective Special

      I had the same problem with my 38 k frame. Basically the same story on how I got it. All i did was pull the hammer back and put two drops of lubricant inbetween the frame and hammer and haven't had a problem since.

      What gun do you CC?

      Colt Mustang Plus II. Small considering im 6"6 at 220 lbs. Looking to get a Glock 30 when i have the money to spare. But i always have the colt if I want to be able to wear a t-shirt and shorts.

      Why is it that I don't hear much about the Glock 21?

      The Glock 21 was the first pistol I bought after i turned 21. I love it and makes a great home defense gun. Luckily I have larger hands so handling it is no problem for me. Never have had a single isssue, but that's Glock for you. I would highly recommend it for a home defense pistol.

      I also am a first time 1911 owner. I just bought myself a Kimber Custom II. I've been wanting one for a while and finally got around to it. In the process of breaking it in. Any other Kimber owners on here have any advice on what to look into? I'm not looking to put a light or anything like that...

      Which model Kimber was it your friend had? I've never had a problem shooting a Kimber, but have heard ones made since 2007 have had some issues.
