Found my VMax load!!
Yesterday I ladder tested the Hornady Vmax (55gr .223) from 24.4gr. up to 26.65gr. I set up two targets, cleaned the barrel, sent two fouler/sighting rounds to the left target and sent the first ladder round to the right target at 100 yds. 223 Question
I just started reloading for the AR-15 and shot my first rounds today. I built a depth gauge, and used it to measure the spacing from the bolt face to the rifling start. I set my depth on the press to give me the same ogive minus .002 but the overall was longer than my mag max, so I kept backing...- bmbrady77
