Silver, gold, stocks? Newbie with zero knowledge..SCHOOL ME!!
The idea is that gold and silver will always hold value and have traditionally been used as a currency. If you were to find a gold coin from 1000 years ago, it would still hold value. The same is not true for other paper currencies. You should look into the definition of fiat currency.- d0pey
