Very true - another good thing about the P320 platform.
Just note that the trigger guard of the smallest grip is round, and all of the rest of the trigger guards are square. This means that you'll need a different holster to carry different configurations.
Ask me how I know... :/

I have an Xcarry and carry it daily - no issues. Buy with confidence!
I'm a shorter guy - 5' 6" 180lbs - so I have to dress around it a bit when carrying between 3-5 o'clock (Comp Tac IWB Infidel). I think most of this is a side effect of this specific holster's height above belt, not the...
FWIW I have a Deltapoint Pro on a Glock 19, a Sig Romeo 1 on a Sig P320 X5 and a Cmore Slide Ride on my competition gun.
They are definitely good for faster sight acquisition, target transition, etc. The caveat is that it takes awhile to get used to a dot - how to find it, how it tracks in...

At this week's match, we'll be experimenting with different squadding arrangements so that, on May 2, we can get you in and...
Finding matches
Ditto what everyone else said.
I'm pretty new to the area, so I don't know where Raceland is - we'd love to have you come out to our Wed nights at Sentry in Youngsvillle! Very beginner friendly.
Contact beauxdog too, though, because FRC may be closer to you. I hear great...
First match was a great success! Almost 30 shooters. We weren't expecting that - good problem to have!
There is one important thing to note - and this is a drag - Sentry's insurance policy does not allow patrons to shoot handloads. Yes, I know - bummer. I do not know if/when this will...
Ditto on what Mike said - though if you don't have a holster/mag pouches, don't worry. Just bring a pistol bag and wear pants with a lot of pockets.
If you want to bring more than one gun, go ahead. If there aren't many shooters, you may be able to run sine stages twice. However if we get...
No problem! I think the next one will be March 7th. We'll be going every other week for awhile. Hopefully we'll catch some momentum and get up to every week by this summer.
The match is ON everyone! It will be at Sentry Defense in Youngsville, Feb 21. Be there at 6:00PM for registration/shooter's meeting. 6:30PM hammer down. We have 4 stages, including a classifier. Bring your friends!!!
You can pre-register on here on PractiScore...
Hoping to get final confirmation, details, etc, with the range owners tomorrow (2/14). Will let you all know as soon as I know.

Cool sounds good - don't push it though. Hopefully this becomes a regular thing!
Also, yes, I realize that the middle of the week may be tough. This was the best night for the range to do it, so we'll give it a whirl.

We'd love to have you! All skill levels welcome...
Hey man - thanks for responding! I was hoping to meet up with you anyway about matches in the area. Get well soon so we can mix it up ;) We'll keep in touch.
**SAVE THE DATE - WED, FEB 21**
For those interested, the owners of Sentry Defense range in Youngsville and I are talking about holding matches on Wednesdays - potentially starting on Feb 21st.
Details (match frequency, hammer down time, match fee, etc) are not fully figured out yet, but...
Thanks beauxdog - I don't mind driving, so I'll probably join you guys! How many rounds do you all typically go through?
Yeah MikeR - seems that way. Fortunately, I'm used to an hour-ish drive to my current practice range in TX.
Hi all - moving to Lafayette in Jan and wondering where you guys practice?
Looks like a lot of the matches are at sheriff ranges - will they let the general public come and practice "run-and-gun" stuff?
Any suggestions are helpful. Thanks in advance!

Hi all - I'm moving to Lafayette, LA in Jan. I've been a site member for awhile, but since we're moving, I figured it was time to get more active.
I'm a USPSA shooter (though not very good), and looking for an outdoor practice range. Would be happy to hear any suggestions.
Thanks guys!
