      Haven't checked this thread in awhile, I ended up purchasing the Vortex Sparc II and the VMX-3T magnifier. Kept if for about a month and sold it, purchased a Nikon M-223 with the 600 BDC reticle to replace it. Much better for what I'd like to use the rifle for.

      I went by my local yesterday and held the Springfield XDM 9mm and the S&W M&P 9mm, the S&W was considerably lighter, but, both felt really nice. Haven't held a VTAC in my hand yet. Was looking around on impactguns.com yesterday and saw a few I liked. Decisions... decisions...
