What's your bedside / home defense gun?
Just the wife and me and 2 cats. We have motion activated cameras around the house and my carry gun goes in my nightstand drawer over night. We feel our neighborhood is fairly safe, but I still take precautions. -

New P365 w roughly 800 rds down the pipe so far
No Sig is a dud. Shoot the hell out of that bad boy. In the unlikely event it fails Sig will fix. I have one of the early 2018 editions never had one failure. -

Handguns That Are 'Shooters'
All in my gun collection are "shooters" because I dump any that are not. But my very favorite "shooter" is my M&P 9 Pro CORE. I am able to put 18 rounds in a 5" circle at 21 feet. Not bad for an old fart. -

Pocket Guns.
I can pocket carry 12+1 9mm in my Sig P365 when going downtown to the French Quarter. The .380 mostly goes with me to the grocery store. The 351C .22 Magnum goes with me fishing. The NAA is loaded with snake shot. -

The .22's and .380's are a lot lighter than the 9mm's. When I carry the P365 with 11 rounds or the P938 with 7, right front pocket, I need a gun belt to keep my pants up. The Bodyguard, 351C and the NAA mini weigh very little and can fit in any pocket. -

dirty_sanchez, Please stop using WWB aka Crap! Mine was made April 5, 2018. I shoot it regularly using Blazer Brass or my old carry ammo and never had a malfunction. My pocket holster is a Remora. -

WRONG! 10mm is a lengthened .40 with a standard powder charge. 44 magnum is .44 with a magnum powder charge. -

What to buy?
Pardon my interruption but in my experience Gerber is not the best knife choice for an all-around EDC at the $85-$115 price point. Get yourself a Benchmade 551 Griptilian with a combination blade, especially useful for cutting ropes and such. A Benchmade will outlast your lifetime...- Bonephish

Truck gun?
The mini reflex optics are awesome on range guns and help accuracy because the dot elevation and windage is zero'ed on the bullseye. Put the dot in the center of the bullseye and squeeze the trigger. Follow up shots are often in the same hole. I have 3 Vortex Vipers, one on my M&P Pro Series... -
