      colt .22 m4 carbine

      I have the Colt version also. I did have a couple of issues early on, but were resolved quickly. It was sent to umarex for warranty repair, got it back in a week. I had it out yesterday and it ran great. I put 100 rounds through it with no problems. They are pretty accurate as well.

      Diamond Training Center

      I have a membership there and have been most happy with it. Troy is a good guy. You gotta' love the dog too. I shoot mostly AR's & AK's there with no problems. Give them a try.

      Minimum Posts

      The downside to a post requirement is for people like me. I don't post much, but rather spend the time to absorb info from lots of people I consider more knowledgable than I. I'm sure there are others like that also. But I wouldn't care for a restriction in case I do want to use the marketplace...

      For only about $150 more you can do much better. Bushmaster, Stag etc., both at around 1k. Oly has suffered from many quality issues over the years, perhaps they are better now, but I'm unwilling to gamble on it..Good luck.

      Barney, You can keep your original handle just by adding the Latch. Not a big deal. Jim's had them in stock last week, probably still has some. Just ask for a Tac Latch.

      I was able to pick up a rear sight at the Belmont show Saturday. Price was $70. I put it on a Colt when I got home. Nice fit, locks up tight. Sure beats the price of the Troy's etc. I'm sure it's gonna work fine, as a backup to my Eotech. I should have bought a couple more though.

      Bushmaster M4

      I've got two Bushmasters, both have been bullet proof.(Pun intended) The M4/a3 is a sweet rifle. I also have a Colt and a Rock River, and can say the Bush is every bit as good as they are. Buy with confidence & enjoy.

      Vulcan Armament What is the scoop

      Vulcan/Hesse/Blackthorn/ (or whatever the name of the day is) is a no go, both AR's & AK's. Have seen cast lowers with major Kabooms, out of spec parts etc.
