I had a chance to shoot the Rem. 783 a customer brought in last week in 30-06. The rifle was just smooth as silk. Single-digit bolt manipulation, detach. mag, and topped off with a Vortex crossfire, this rig is not only fun to shoot, I heard it is very reasonably priced. Easily popped 1" groups...

ok so I didn't really "build" it...lol (so many AR ninjas throw a fit when we don't make our own hammer springs)...I almost went from scratch and could have easily done it...but I wanted no fuss with this one, so I just bought the gun from Anderson.
