He didn't specify, but he knew I wasn't type of guy they looking for even before we met.It all looks like they're just fishing this way around, if I didn't have these guns but had sane explanation that would work as well. They do look pretty reasonable, despite the methods they use. In a few...
I'm not 100% sure that they're doing this way, this is all my assumption based on what and how it all happened. I didn't ask directly and even if I asked they probably wouldn't tell me, but in the past I worked with similar agency in one of the past Soviet Union countries, slightly different...
Alright, its not a scam.
I've met that guy at his office, showed him guns that he asked, he verified numbers and that's it. He does not look like an enemy of law abiding citizens.
His version is that from time to time they check gun owners in order to verify that they're not selling for profit...
Its been 3 weeks and they never called back.
I'll check with ATF later about wtf was that, but if that's scam, its weird he named several guns that I have, those are not easy to guess like Glock or generic ARs. I usually shop online thru local FFL, but those named were from one big physical...
Yes correct. Recently I've purchased several pistols at the same time, since FFL charges per application, not per gun. I asked FFL he said that now they have to report to ATF when more that 2 handguns per transfer occur. That's was triggered the call I believe. But will see next week.
What type of interview? I'm not doing any class 3 sot neither manufacturing any nfl items here to be interviewed.
I could let him in any day, cause ATF won't be able to find cleaner and more law abiding guy than me.
All I want is to not let them do anything over their jurisdiction and at the...
Yes that was my initial idea.
He said he's aware of me being able to purchase as many guns as I want.
But since I've purchased quite a few in last several years they want to verify whether I don't sell them for profit.
Been into several, but at the same time I have a few suppressors still in jail waiting for ATF blessing. Whether its real ATF I don't really feel good about confronting them at this point. My last suppressor I've been waiting 14 months for stamp to come, love these guys.
Will see how he feels...
Received call of the ATF guy asking whether he can come to check some of my guns, they need to check if I haven't sold them.
He was mentioning several 22s that I've purchased several years ago. He said that he can come inside or we can meet somewhere so I can show it.
Is this something new...
Is there any open house day or daily/hourly fee just to see whats going on there before buying 1k membership?
I'm a port capt here at Miss River and do not have fixed schedule to make even 24hr appointments, are they planning to establish no-schedule policy for members?
