      The Ruger Mark IV

I just picked up a MK II Comp. Target slabside a few weeks ago, and now I wish I had acquired one a looong time ago!

      smith wesson must be bad

I carry a S & W Model 640, and practice with a Model 66-2 does THAT count? (for the record, there are NO plastic, polymer or tupperware pews in my safe)

      Biggest Regret?

This is a strange answer, but I regret selling a Taurus 689 with 6" barrel. It was the first revolver I bought and I traded it toward my first FAL (THERE is an addiction of it's own). I also regret selling the pristine ChiCom SKS spiker I owned. It was without a single blemish. Paid about $200...

      Favorite "Sleeper" Handgun

Any of you ever heard of Star Firearms?? My nomination is a Star Model 30M 9mm all steel double stack. I picked it up for about $285, and had it Ceracoated. Smoothest action of ANY semiauto I have owned. Loved it so much that I now have 3 Star pistols. Definitely overlooked brand, perhaps...

      1911 Reliability

In my experience, a 1958 Sistema Argentine has been 100% reliable, it is why I used it as a truck gun for about 10 years. The lEAST reliable 1911 I have owned is Para Ordnance 14-45

      Mammoth Grip

I have staghorn grips on two SAA's and one of my 1911's. Not quite the same as ivory but I like it better anyway.

What Unique/Crazy Gun Have You Owned?

Several. L.C Smith sidehammer double barrel 10 gauge with Damascus barrels (black powder only), CZ 52 roller locked ComBloc pistol in 7.62 Makarov, Speshul Weaponz .45 ACP version of a semiauto MP5, and a so called 'sneak' Luger with no maker rollstamp, Star Megastar .45 ACP almost the size...

      SecureIt Gun Cabinets

I wish you well in your endeavor. I just moved (within the month) and this was the third move in four years. My Cannon safe just about hare-lipped us moving it, and the poor snowflakes in the apartment block we initially lived in were triggered (see what I did there?) by the sight of a big GUN...

      .45 ACP handgun suggestions...

IIRC, the SAR K2 also uses the same Mec-Gar mags that the Para double stack 1911's use.

      Sherburne WMA

I loved shooting at Sherberne...until the ridiculous barricade was set up on the rifle ranges in 2014. Refused to shoot rifles there agin. Went to pistol range a few times and then we moved to Houston in 2015. Wondering how perforated the new roof/baffles are by now with all the high volume derp...
