I am down with a gathering, but can't make the 24th. I can make the weekend before. You can just show up no need to reserve the range. If there are few members of the Fusilier complex we can bring 2 guest per member and the range is nicer.
As far as the ATF is concerned even though you have a commercial receiver you still are not manufacturing the firearm until you assemble the parts. They consider a firearm manufactured once you assemble the parts. If you have a stripped lower and a separate parts kit then you just have a firearm...
You can't register a firearm with the state before it is 'manufactured', you will get approval from the ATF without it because legally you cant make it until you are approved. After you are approved and you 'manufacture' it they you have to register it....kinda dumb to register it anyways.
I know that was you, just did not know if you are on a first name basis here. I am planing a range trip(s) the week of Mardi Gras, of course after all the dust settles. If you will be around let me know and maybe we can meet there.
I am indeed near Barneys, but not affiliated with them at all.
I stock a good bit of Class III items and do mostly online sales. I do sell locally, but by appointment.
Shoot me a PM and we will work something out.
Thanks, Guate
Probably the same reason a dog licks his balls.....Cause he can...:dogkeke: Depending on what kind of ammo you shoot, you can find ammo around $2.50 a round.
A SBR doesn't have to be a virgin receiver before you make it. You DO need a stamp before you make it though.
You are correct once a rifle always a rifle.
Nothing at all. You can make it a pistol as long as it is a 'virgin' receiver. You can always go pistol to rifle, but after it is a rifle you can't go back pistol.
03 is a C&R license not to be confused with the Class 3 tax stamp. If you plan on getting a FFL for personal use other that a type 03 you need to be careful what you post and say on the internet.
