I need a belt holster that will fit on an old military belt (old school, lots of holes...). I have the old mil spec holster (um84 ) but the thumb break is 1/4" too short. So I need a kydex basic relatively inexpensive holster that will work with a 2" belt? Suggestions?

    Here... take your pick
Most won't fit on a 2" belt is the problem. I'm trying to set up a belt using an old mil surp belt (2" wide, lots of holes, big bulky plastic buckle on the ends...).

Yep, I've used the Bladetech style attachment on holsters and mag pouches for a 1.5" belt but they accommodates the 2" as well.

I really like the Safariland ALS holsters, but they aren't "budget priced" unless you just get lucky on ebay or a forum.

Build what you want. Kydex is simple to work and very forgiving of mistakes. All the tools you need are probably in your house all ready. Heat. Pressure. Razor Blades.

I like the ALS also. But I don't want to spend that much for a holster I'm going to use for one weekend for a class. I have a nice IWB that I usually use.... I didn't realize the bladetech would accommodate a 2" belt. TY...
