Looking for .410 suitable for snakes. Can’t find anything in the BR area. Anyone got a lead?

For shooting out of a shotgun?? Or a handgun (Judge or similar?). I was in Cabelas a few weeks ago, and there were quite a few boxes of .410 on the shelf. Anything should be suitable for snakes, #6 or 7 1/2 shot would do just fine.

Agreed. I use 9 shot target loads in the little snake charmer I have because it’s the cheapest thing on the shelf and it will cleanly remove the head of any snake in these parts. Ok, maybe not so clean.

Thank you! I usually use a single shot shotgun for snakes. Literally just have trouble finding .410 anywhere lately. Almost stepped on a monster moccasin last weekend and need some new rounds.

If Bass Pro is close to you, they should stock the same as Cabelas.
