We purchased our first travel trailer back in 2012, an Open Range 303BHS. Bought it new. Traded it for a pre owned 42' Open Range toy hauler in 2014. Enjoyed it until early 2017 when an unfortunate black tank backup flooded the rig and it was totaled. We purchased a Grand Design 395M toy hauler in July of '17 and have really enjoyed it. Nearly 40K miles of travel with it so far. We do at least 1 weekend trip with it per month and 3 week long trips per year. We have really enjoyed ourselves. Kinda regret not getting one much earlier when my girls were young, but it was not really in the cards with work, owning a separate small business, school, house note, etc. Here are a couple pictures from Gulf State Park Campground in Gulf Shores. One of our favorite destinations. Great bike trails, golf, food, and of course white sand beaches.

Bumping this up, we’ve been having a blast in our Passport

Dry camped for the first time a few weeks ago, the Cummins Onan 4500 inverter genny did great with the AC and power load.

Learned that you can’t let the kids “just bathe” as we quickly ran out of water, but a weekend at the motocross track was awesome!

Couple pictures of our current setup. These were taken at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores Alabama. Love that place. Miles and miles of bike trails. Bring the Kayaks and explore also. Rig is a Grand Design Momentum 395M we purchased back in 2017. Pulling with Chevy 3500 dually.

2022 Flagstaff MicroLite. Been to Piegon Forge, Fireside, Marksville, Bucanneer State Park numerous times, Magestic Oaks, Orlando twice, and Coco Beach. Planning on Going to Broken Arrow and the Ozarks next. In the process of looking for a 2500 instead of the 1500 in the picks. 2500's are like trying to find chicken lips right now.
