I joined a few months ago. I am looking for someone to teach / help zero in My AK and Pistols.
Most of my life I have owned guns, but smaller caliber, and I have never been an avid shooter. But in today's world, being prepared is a must.

They have rules like everyone else cowboy, Call them up and get it from the horses mouth.

There are no range officers. It's usually quiet except right before hunting season.

No R.O. The owner is retired so he may swing in.
2 years ago I called and ask permission to bring friends from Great Britain skeet shooting or clays as they call it.
Party of 5, Owner was cool with it.
Key words here, Ask permission first, Don't show up and just think your all cool and a big wig.
Easy enough?

Forgot to add, Bring Off certain times of the year as there are 3 crawfish ponds right there.

I live in Kaplan so thats about a 45 min drive but not sure there are ranges closer. The application requires a sponsor. Thats a problem

I am Gator 45/70, I needed nor was required a sponsor or sponsor's.
Boom! Call the people if you really want to join.
I don't sponsor Jack diddly Squat anymore.

Gun club meeting tomorrow night, Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Sub Station located at 101 Moosa Blvd, Eunice, LA.

Remember if you join in an off month like this month you are only paying until Oct. 1st?
Then the fees kick in again for another year, Seems crappie but those are the rules or just wait until the end of September.
Join then and get a full year.

I don't remember anyone saying or reading anywhere about Drawing.
The hours or daytime only
Not sure about NFA.
They charge $125.00 first year / $100.00 per year thereafter.

Getting info and contacts is difficult
