Well it took them long enough. I’m pretty sure it was the fbi who released a study that 9mm was preferable medium pistol caliber because it affords more capacity in similar frames pistols, the terminal ballistics of modern ammo is comparable to 40 and 45, and shot strings and follow up shots were faster than the 40 and 45.

I honestly thought they would’ve changed over with the report.

I shoot well with either 40 or 9mm but 9mm offers a higher magazine capacity and less recoil but faster follow up shots.
