I Have a Marlin 780 walnut stock. I am attempting to remove the old finish to refinish and install on my Marlin Glenfield 25. I have tried a couple of brands finish strippers but neither seem to do anything close to strippers with methylene chloride as their main ingredient. Does anybody know of a good quality finish remover. I realize methelyne chloride has been banned just looking for a good replacement.

I used this on Uberti rifles and revolvers that have that reddish hard stained and finish coat. It might take multiple coats . Just follow the directions.

    It works
