    I picked up a Century Arms AP5 a few months ago. Very happy with it. She purrs like a kitten that's just been fed two tax stamps.

    The good thing about the AP5 is that it's not even a clone, its just a straight up mp5. (Even though it's not made by hk directly)
    They didn't do any copying or reverse engineering.
    It's made on early gen HK mp5 equipment and is only 1/3 the cost.

    While the AP5s usually work, there's a reason they're not the same price as an HK. The fit and finish is not the same. But hey, there's something out there for everybody.

    I did not know this. It makes the AP5 that much more appealing to me.
