It's been a while since I've been, but I believe they have signs that say all weapons need to be inspected (meaning emptied and zip-tied open). However, they do not have metal detectors or search anyone, so it is on the honor system.

I always just assumed EVERYONE was carrying.

I've always been asked by a cop if I was carrying any guns or ammo. I would consider that to be part of the duty to inform, but you do you.

I'm 70 now, and in all the decades I was a vendor at shows, I never saw or heard of a need of a loaded gun inside the show. That said, many (most?) firearm vendors had a gun and ammo at hand for a quick load if necessary. I have seen at least one and possibly more instances where attendees loaded their carry gun after past the entrance and later negligently discharged their gun while trying out a holster or showing it to someone.

Don't be that numb nuts and only safely reload as you leave the building.

I've NEVER been asked.
Appearance can make a difference in experiences.

I have a vague memory but the current rule is you cannot, but it changed to that when the parish bought the facility in 2009 so it's a government building. When it was privately owned CC was good to go.
