    It's that time of year yall. The rivers, bayous and streams down south are all swollen from the snow melt up north. Unfortunately that means we at Honey Island have to suffer through closures during these spring months.

    The water is above 16ft at the Pearl River gauge in Pearl River and that causes the water in Indian Bayou to flow over the bridge at the entrance to our range and also flood our parking lot and some of the road leading to it.

    According to the forecast, it looks like we may be able to reopen next weekend. Please check our website to make sure we're open before coming out.
