I'm thinking about picking up something like this

anyone have any experience with something like this? i'm too big to be climbing my fat ass up a tree so i tend to stay on the ground (plus i dont want to spend $250+ on a climbing stand). i've hunted uncovered the past 2 years so i'd like to step up my game a bit.

any help or suggestions are much appreciated.

Spanky, I've done some turkey hunting out of that tent. Awesome. They came within 5 yards of my Dad and I. They never suspected a thing.

My Dad deer hunts out of his(he had knee surgery last year). He had a hard time climbing tree stands and was forced to use this last year after his surgery. He has shot a doe out of it this bow season already. He can climb now, but would rather use his tent.

We hunt in thick bottomland in St. Francisville and with some minor cover brush, it blends in great.

I'd give it a thumbs up.

Used the tent this weekend. Had three spooked does come within 50 yards of my blind. They seem so close when you are on the ground. I could see the whiskers on their faces.

That wind had them spooked all weekend lon though.:(

Hunt on private land just outside of Jackson, LA. Also do some hunting in MS.

Cat Island Wildlife Refuge is also close by.
