I recently picked up this old gun, a Husqvarna 30-06. Came with complete factory sites and additional scope mounts. Shorter barrel.
Early 1950s model.

Picked it up at auction for $230
I think its worth a lot more...
I lubed it up and freed up the safety, all works well.
Will take to the gun range shortly and try it.

Looks like a model 1640. I have an older 640 model in 8mm. Nice rifles. Yes, it's worth more than $230 if the barrel is in good shape which most are. They were well made.

Not sure of the model # but it does not have any aluminum in front of the trigger where it can be unloaded.

It opens and allows for unloading the rifle. Loads from the top.
