Can anyone answer or offer a reference/resource? I've scanned the web to no avail to my subject question.

I have a late '70s Winchester Model 1894 30-30 with the standard stock and fore-end. I am thinking about swapping the furniture for checkered engraved - I like the way it looks and feels on my Grade II BL-22. I found a couple places online where I can send my OEM stuff and they'll do the checkering, but $$$. I also found sellers on eBay et al. who offer used OEM checkered furniture, but they specify 'angle eject' in their listing. I can't imagine how AE might affect stock and fore-end mounting or design, but admittedly I'm a complete novice/dunce when it comes to weapon design.

Thanks in advance for helpful advice.
