I brought the kids to get their usual chinese knives and junk. Beyond that same **** as usual. Plenty of ammo for obscene prices, 80 cents and up for 9mm and around a dollar and up for any .223/5.56. Plenty of overpriced guns as well. It was not nearly as crowded as the last one.

There’s also an essential oil booth now if you’re running low on lavender.

Attendance was way lower than Slidell last weekend. But some folks may have gone to the other show in Gonzales this weekend. Someone at this show said Gonzales was really busy, like Slidell was. There were fewer vendors in Mandeville than last show. You call usually judge by the aisle width, if they are wide the tables are spread out to make it appear full. If the aisles are smaller, They jam more tables into the same space to fit more vendors. Ammo was readily available(A good sign I think) but prices were stupid($80 to $125 for a box of 5.7x28) for the most part. Several of the gun vendors had reasonable prices but selection was limited especially on handguns. But again some had crazy prices also($7500 for a Gen 1 PS90). Did not buy anything, $10 admission, but could go back today free if my hand stamp had not washed off.

May have possibly been the only affordable thing if I had to guess? Lol

Went both days, first looking for a particular gun, and second to try and sell a different. As others said ammo prices through the roof.... gun prices were hit or miss.... Almost laughed in a vendor's face when he told me my asking price was to high for my pistol while he had a 3 tables of guns grossly overpriced.

Hadn't gone to a gun show in a long time and I remembered why this past weekend. If it wasnt for looking for a particular gun I probably wouldn't of gone at all.
