I would suggest everyone avoid George Peterson like the plague. He scammed members out of tens of thousands of dollars.

Years ago I took a couple of classes at a place called 2A Firearms Training, LLC in Independence, LA. Absolutely loved the people and the vibe there. Would highly suggest giving them a chance if anyone is looking for a new place that is a little bit closer to the New Orleans area than Baton Rouge. They offer group classes or one-on-one training courses.

Check with Phobos Solutions. They are in Metairie and cater to specific shooter types, from never touched a gun to advanced entry tactics. They really put on some good classes or personalized instruction.

Phobos Solutions does a great job from beginner to advanced.
