This old air rifle started off in a black composite stock, unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures of it before.
It has survived multiple floods since I got it new when I was kid.
Fortunately it never went under and was stowed away, and up until recently, it showed it up again with perfect timing.
This year my 13 yr old nephew has gained an interest in hunting and with that he went out on his own and got himself his youth hunter safety certification.
So I cleaned the rust off the bluing with some brass wool so it looks good and shiny again. The stock had some stickers and had faded some with some nicks here and there so I lightly sanded and smoothed it all out. And spent the morning painting it camo for him.
Needless to say, he loves it. Already has his sights on a rabbit that’s been terrorizing his backyard. And the story of the Daisy pellet gun goes on.
