Question about NewOrleans Ticket

I cannot get into touch with the New Orleans court house about a ticket I recieved a while back. The lines are disconnected and this one # I found online gives me an answer machine for New Orleans traffic court.

The ticket is due today and they make it easy to pay the Fine 222$ online but I want a court date because I was not in the wrong. I dont' want to just give them my money and my insurance to go up because some N.O cops were pulling over everyone handing out BS tickets.

SO does anyone know who to call?

If I do pay this just so I don't have to deal with it will it affect my insurance? They claim I was doing 38 in a 20mph School zone.

Also, It says on the ticket I have till today to pay it, what happens If I don't pay or get intouch with the right person?

I hate the way the legal system is setup these days, Im not ritch and cannot shove out hard earned $$ for the State. I want a fair trial.

The # that the Cop circled on the back of the ticket is 504-581-3463, the Officers name is M. Winchester and his badge # is 2348.

You more than likely have a bench warrant out for your arrest for Failure to Appear.

see post 2. i've done this months after i was supposed to go to court.

every time i've done it i've had to pay the fine but it did not go on my record. if you plead your case properly it could possibly be dropped.
