Range in Jackson, MS

Does anyone know of a good range in Jackson, MS? My dad just bought a new 9mm and I thought I'd take him to one next time I went up.

There's a HUGE range just off I-55 south of town; the police nationals used to be held there. It the last exit before you get to I-20, if northbound. Turn east, about a mile or so. Cannot remember the name of that road; been too long.

Dunno if its open to the public, though.

That's the Jackson Police range, on McDowell Rd. It's not open to the public.

The surplus city range in clinton though, is just a hair outside jackson. Its open to the public, $15 an hour.
